Our Story

FROM KITCHEN COTTAGE TO COMMUNITY BAKERY

Marta’s N More began with a powerful idea: sharing exquisite, handmade baked goods. What started as a beloved hobby for Marta quickly blossomed into something much bigger. While working a dedicated career in the medical field, Marta became a passionate cottage baker. Her treats quickly earned a loyal following, turning her passion into a promising venture.

The growing demand soon outgrew the home kitchen. In 2018, Marta took the exciting leap and opened the first Marta’s N More on Broadway in Lorain.

Always striving for perfection, Marta embarked on an inspiring journey to France. Immersing herself in classic baking techniques, bringing European artistry back to Lorain.

The business flourished, leading to a move to our current, larger location. Today, Marta’s vision is supported by an incredible team that shares her commitment to quality and community. We look forward to many more years of sharing our passion with you.

FOUNDER, OWNER AND CHEF

Marta De Leon was called to share her passion, which was well-received. Even after this passion manifested itself into a successful bakery, she wanted more. To further perfect her skills, Marta would find herself in the South of France. Marta went on to complete a three-month pastry and French program at Gastronomicom in Agde, France. This unique learning experience in the heart of French culture not only elevated her craft but also her love and appreciation for all things French. Marta brought back everything she learned- the flavors, the feeling, the family-style cafe- so that you can get a taste of France, too. You can taste the love and thought put into every bite.
